All residents of a personal care home in Whiteway, Trinity Bay were safely evacuated after a fire in the building overnight.
RCMP say the fire started outside the main entrance to the Shag Rock Manor shortly after midnight.
Firefighters from three nearby departments responded, and the fire, which is not believed to be suspicious, was put out.
Residents of the personal care home were taken to the Whiteway Recreation Centre—where they remain due to the damage caused. There were no injuries.
