A team of RNC investigators, Rovers Ground Search and Rescue personnel and experts from Memorial University are in the area of Three Island Pond Road in Paradise, continuing their probe into the recent discovery of human remains.

The remains were discovered in a wooded area yesterday and police were notified.

Efforts are centred on what’s being called a “defined, concentrated” area.

The investigation is being conducted in conjunction with the Chief Medical Examiner’s office which is working to identify the remains and possibly determine the cause of death.
