The Standing Committee on Public Accounts has called another public hearing to follow up on issues raised in the Auditor General’s report on problems encountered by the provincial ferries the Veteran and the Legionnaire.

The two vessels have been plagued with repeated mechanical problems since being purchased and brought into service.

A public hearing was held in March of this year, but another hearing is scheduled for tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. in the House of Assembly.
