Emergency services at the Bonavista Peninsula Health Centre will be supported with virtual resources over the next day.

A nurse practitioner will be on hand in the emergency department, assisted by a virtual physician.

Anyone who needs to can proceed to the emergency department, where they will be transferred to another hospital if necessary.

Virtual care will be in place from 8 a.m. today until 8 a.m. tomorrow.
