Students in Corner Brook and St. John’s will rally today against increases in tuition rates at Memorial University.
MUNSU says students this year are paying $600 per course, almost triple the cost a year ago. International students now face tuition fees of $20,000 per year for the same education.
They’re calling on the provincial government to restore tuition to previous levels.
Rallies take place at Grenfell at 10:00 a.m. and at the Clock Tower in St. John’s at 11 a.m.
