The opening of the snowmobiling season in Gros Morne National Park is delayed this year.
Due to a lack of snow on the ground and projected higher temperatures in the long-range forecast, the opening of the season for this year’s resident snowmobiling season will be December 16.
Parks Canada will issue a notice when the season officially opens, as dates are subject to change.
