A man who played a key role in the early days of the pandemic in keeping the supply chain moving has passed away. Captain Morris Collins of the Salvation Army, who was stationed in Port aux Basques at the time, noticed a need by truckers who were having trouble accessing food and other services.
Captain Collins, who had been stationed in Marystown of late, passed away Thursday.

As they say in the Salvation Army, he has received his final promotion. He has been promoted to glory.
