A “reimagined” version of the Broadway hit Come From Away is coming to the town where the story was born.

Premier Andrew Furey has announced that a home-grown version of the musical is coming to Gander next summer.

The Gander production will be directed by nationally-renowned and Newfoundland’s own Jillian Keiley, and will be produced by the musical’s originating producer Michael Rubinoff.

An official opening is set for July 22, 2023. Shows will take place at the Gander Arts and Culture Centre every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from July 7 to September 3.
