A Newfoundlander is being recognized on the national level for her work in advancing mental health care across the country.
Louise Bradley, former President and CEO of the Mental Health Commission of Canada, was invested into the Order of Canada on Thursday, according to Lieutenant Governor Judy Foote.
The induction comes one year after Bradley, who now serves in a volunteer position on the board of the Gathering Place, was invested into the Order of Newfoundland and Labrador.
In a tweet, Bradley says it was an honour to receive the Order at Rideau Hall.
