One person was taken to hospital with serious injuries following an incident in the west end of the capital city.
RNC received reports of an assault with a weapon outside a residence shortly before midnight on Friday.
One person sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
Forensic Services as well as criminal investigators also responded to the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
