Brad Gushue’s St. John’s rink is one step closer to winning a historic first gold medal at the inaugural 2022 Pan Continental Curling Championships.
Gushue earned Canada’s spot in the gold-medal game following an 8-2 win over Japan yesterday at Calgary’s WinSport Event Centre.
Canada, the first seed in the playoffs, takes on third-seed South Korea in the gold-medal game today at 12:30 p.m. Newfoundland time.
The South Koreans defeated the second-seed United States 9-6 to lock up their spot in the gold-medal game.
