The province’s Health Minister says same-day hip and knee replacement surgeries are expected to start this month.
Tom Osborne provided the update in response to questions in the House of Assembly from Placentia West Bellvue MHA Jeff Dwyer.
Osborne says they’re hoping to expand the service to other areas of the province to help alleviate joint replacement wait times.
