A 26-year-old man is dead and a 24-year-old man is seriously injured following a crash in Mobile this morning involving a stolen ATV.
Police were called to Mobile First Pond Road around 6:00 a.m. this morning, where an ATV had left the gravel road and collided with a tree.
Both occupants, who were not wearing helmets, were thrown from the machine.
One man died at the scene while the other was rushed to hospital in St. John’s for urgent medical treatment.
Police say the ATV was stolen from Melvin’s ATV Parts and Accessories in Burnt Cove in September.
