A travel nurse is searching for her lost pet as the clock ticks down to her next assignment.
Laura Ozuna came to St. John’s three months ago as a travel-registered nurse. While packing for her assignment in Carbonear on October 26, her 11-year-old cat, Yoko, escaped from the Lady Ann Place and Holden Street area of Mount Pearl.
Yoko is all white, weighs only around nine pounds, and has green eyes. She does not have a collar or microchip.
Ozuna leaves for Ontario in two weeks.
She’s asking people to check their backyards, BBQs, sheds and any other nook or cranny as Yoko is very small and skittish. Anyone who spots Yoko is asked to take a photo of her and contact Ozuna at 905-746-5772.
