The family and friends of Trevor Hamlyn, who passed away after disappearing four years ago in Paradise, gathered over the weekend to raise money and give him a musical send-off reflecting his fun-loving personality.
The family is raising money to cover Hamlyn’s funeral expenses, and any money collected over and above the cost of the funeral will be donated to the Rovers Ground Search and Rescue.
Hamlyn disappeared in June of 2018. His remains were discovered on October 31 off Three Island Pond Road, not far from his Imogne Cresent home.
A memorial service is scheduled for Barrett’s Funeral Home in St. John’s on Saturday, November 19 from 1- 4 p.m.
A private service will be held in Grand Falls-Windsor where Hamlyn will be laid to rest with his father.
