A widespread but brief power outage left thousands in the dark for a short time this morning.
The power was out from central Newfoundland to the Avalon Peninsula including metro but service has since been restored to most areas.
NL Hydro says the outages this morning were the result of an issue experienced with the Maritime Link. They say power has been restored to most customers, and work is underway to restore power to all.
