Seven people have been displaced by a house fire in the capital city.
Around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, a fire broke out in a bungalow on Gosling Street in a basement apartment. The basement received most of the damage, however, the main level incurred smoke damage.
The seven international students—three of whom lived in the basement—were able to escape without any significant injuries.
They have been provided with emergency lodging, food and clothing by the Canadian Red Cross.
