Fuel costs dropped across the board today and an analyst expects more of the same over the next several days.
Gas is down by up to four and a half cents a litre, diesel is down by close to 5 cents, furnace oil is 5 cents a litre less and stove oil also is less expensive today.
Dan McTeague, President of Canadians for Affordable Energy, says Newfoundland and Labrador still has the highest fuel costs in the land but at least they’re moving in the right direction.
He expects to see gas go down by 5 to 8 cents by next Thursday with diesel prices moving downward as well.
