The governing Liberals are holding their AGM in Gander this weekend.
It’s the first in-person convention for the party since 2018.
Delegates have a full agenda of resolutions and formal election of officers, all of whom will be acclaimed.
Liberal Party president Megan Reynolds, who’s in her last two days at the helm, says it’s hard to measure the excitement and importance of the first in-person AGM in four years.
Reynolds says while Zoom and other virtual get-togethers were valuable, she says nothing replaces the personal interaction and discussions that conventions are all about.
The event begins today and wraps up tomorrow night in the airport town.
