The Newfoundland Growlers are on a tear after earning another victory on Friday night.

The Growlers defeated the Maine Mariners 5 – 4 in overtime with St. John’s native Brett Budgell scoring the game-winning goal.

The Newfoundland Growers improved their record to 12 – 0, with just one loss this season in overtime.

The Mariners will look to avoid a series sweep tonight at Mary Browns Centre.
