A new thrift store for furniture has opened up in the capital city’s east end.

“Again & Again”, operated by Home Again Furniture, will allow the organization to accept all types of furniture, something they previously were unable to do when servicing clients due to size, practicality and purpose.

The new store will sell the donated pieces of furniture, with all the proceeds going back into the organization to help deliver their programs.

Director of Operations, Amy Tulk, says this will help them get more mileage out of donations.

She says many donations to Home Again were not suitable for delivery whether they were decorative, large, antique or unique pieces, which they would previously turn away. Now they can offer better service to their donors and help sustain the organization financially.

Again & Again is open from Wednesday to Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at 25 Hebron Way.
