RNC are investigating an overnight armed robbery in Corner Brook.

Shortly after midnight, police were called to an armed robbery at a business on Commercial Street where a lone suspect present a weapon and demanded cash.

After a brief altercation with an individual inside the business, the suspect fled.

A female victim sustained minor injuries in the commotion.

Police are searching for a male suspect believed to be around 30-years-old, five feet eight inches tall, with a slim build. He wore blue lens glasses and a green oilskin style jacket.

RNC are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
