One man has been charged following a disturbance in Victoria on the weekend.
Harbour Grace RCMP responded to a home in the town around 1:20 a.m. on Saturday.
According to police, the accused, 50-year-old Brent Jackson, did not go easily when police attempted to make an arrest.
He’s now facing two counts of assault on a police officer, resisting arrest, uttering threats to cause death, property damage and five counts of failing to comply with the conditions of his release.
Jackson was remanded to custody to appear in court tomorrow.
