A 64-year-old man was arrested and charged with impaired driving after a single-vehicle crash on the Trans Canada near Gallants early Monday morning.

Police were called to the scene around 2:00 a.m. after a vehicle left the road and rolled down an embankment.

The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle. who was found inside, failed a roadside breath test.

The man was taken to the Bay St. George detachment where police say he blew over the legal limit.

He’s been charged with impaired driving, his licence was suspended and his car impounded
