The driver of a taxi has been ticketed after a pedestrian was struck while on a crosswalk in the centre city area of St. John’s. The accident happened late last night.
RNC say the victim was rushed to hospital with injuries which did not appear to be life-threatening.
The driver was cited for failing to yield the right-of-way to the pedestrian, and their taxi was impounded for a mechanical inspection.
