An event is happening this afternoon in support of the CBS/Paradise Food Bank.
The CBS Fire Department is holding a Stuff the Fire Truck Community Food Drive event at Station 1 (879 Conception Bay Highway) from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m.
The food bank is currently in need of these specific items: sugar, cereal, pasta sauce, SpaghettiOs (or similar), Meatballs & Gravy, Chef Boyardee, soup, Sidekicks, tin sandwich meats, (ham, tuna, chicken, turkey, etc.), shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, and deodorant.
