The Canadian Red Cross is offering an update on the distribution of funding to people affected by Hurricane Fiona.
The Canadian Red Cross says it has provided assistance to more than 88,000 households across Atlantic Canada.
To date, the Red Cross has provided emergency shelter to more than 1,200 people, provided support at 40 reception centres and shelters, provided more than 5,700 emergency items to affected people and communities, and conducted more than 6000 conversations for psychosocial or well-being support.
Those who have not yet registered for relief can do so up until Friday, December 2.
Households already registered do not need to register again.
Not every registered household will receive Red Cross financial assistance, which is intended to help those unable to meet urgent, basic needs because of the storm.
Registration can be completed by calling 1-800-863-6582 before 5:30 p.m. on Friday, December 2.
