The Canada Revenue Agency is holdings its second annual polar dip later this week in support of local charities.
According to the CRA, the money raised from the event will be given to their charitable campaign, who then distributes the money to various local charities.
For the polar dip, they have an internal competition going where employees nominate a member of management and then collect donations on their behalf. The top 25 managers who have money raised in their name will then have to take a plunge into the icy cold waters of Octagon Pond.
The polar dip is taking place on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m.
