The RNC have arrested 46-year-old Craig Lynch, wanted on a number of outstanding charges, including assault of a police officer.

Lynch was arrested around 6:15 yesterday evening following an extensive search and a request for help from the public.

Police issued a warrant for Lynch’s arrest following an incident on November 30 when he is accused of assaulting a police officer with the use of an ATV.

The officer suffered injuries as a result.

Lynch was held in custody to appear in court on charges including assaulting a peace officer with a weapon causing bodily harm, resisting a peace officer, failure to comply with a release order, dangerous driving and failure to stop at the scene of an accident.
