The Canadian Coast Guard icebreaker Ann Harvey will be conducting icebreaking operations in the Goose Bay area starting today and through to Monday.
The icebreaker is cutting an open water track for year-end ferry and tanker operations.
Snowmobilers and others are being warned to be aware of open water in the area through Lake Melville and out to the coast.
