Santa Claus is coming to the City of Corner Brook.

The annual Kinsmen Club Santa Claus Parade will be going ahead this evening at 5:00 p.m.

The parade will begin on Corporal Pinksen Memorial Drive and make its way through various parts of the city before returning to University Avenue.

Corner Brook Mayor Jim Parsons is reminding residents of safety precautions as it is a night parade.

Parsons says the lights of the parade are beautiful at night, buts asks people to make themselves visible while outside and be mindful when crossing any streets as there will be a lot of traffic and noise.
