Stride NL is hosting its annual Toy Run tomorrow in Bowring Park in St. John’s.
President Dennis Dillon says the idea started out with an idea conceived over a coffee but has turned into a major holiday event for the local running community.
Dillon encourages runners to gather at the Upper Duck Pond in Bowring Park for the event at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday morning.
Participants can choose to run or walk 2 km, 5 km or 10km, and registration is a toy that will be donated to the Happy Tree campaign.
