A St. John’s-based theatre is launching a new live audio description service.
Power Productions, an arts organization focused on creating accessible theatre is launching Power Up!, a new program that offers live description services to local theatre productions.
The service includes trained live describers and technical and hardware supports for audience members who are blind or have low vision.
The organization recently launched the program at the Resource Centre for the Arts at the LSPU Hall.
