The opposition is raising questions as to why the government has allowed a shortage of respiratory therapists to continue for so long.
Opposition Leader David Brazil was responding to concerns from the Association of Allied Health Professionals, who say issues such as low pay, poor recruitment and working conditions are the reason why the province lacks respiratory therapists.
Brazil is concerned, given the fact that Eastern Health has lost six therapists since September.

Brazil says it’s clear that there are staffing issues and that government is doing very little to find solutions.
