Cocaine with a street value of over $400,000 has been seized by the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary following a drug trafficking investigation with help from postal inspectors with Canada Post.

On November 24th an investigation by the RNC resulted in the seizure of 7.5 kilograms of cocaine, $8,000 cash, and other drug paraphernalia.

Three people were arrested as a result; a 29-year-old man, and two women ages 25 and 26, all from the Northeast Avalon.

They have since been released as the investigation is continuing.
