A new survey shows that the number one concern weighing on the minds of most Canadians is the rising cost of living.
In November, Narrative Research presented participants with a range of issues including the supply chain, the impact of inflation and the rising cost of living, access to affordable housing and the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Ninety-two percent of those asked across the country say inflation is the number one cause of concern, followed by supply chain issues at 78 percent. The results were even higher in this province according to Narrative Research COO Margaret Chapman.
In NL, 98 percent of those asked were concerned about inflation.
The potential impact of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on the Canadian economy came in third at 74 percent and the availability of affordable housing was fourth at 71 percent.
The results are virtually unchanged from September.
