The province’s Human Rights Commission has handed out its annual award.
Kimberly and Todd Churchill were named this year’s Human Rights Award Winners.
The couple are advocates for the rights for Deaf children to receive an education on the same level of hearing children, particularly in their first language, American Sign Language.
Khadeja Raven Anderson and Michael Duffy were named Human Rights Champions.
