An ocean-industry company in this province has landed its largest contract to date.
Kraken Robotics has landed a contract with the Department of National Defence to provide Remote Minehunting and Disposal Systems to the Royal Canadian Navy.
The contract is valued at upwards of $50 million.
Under the program, the company will deliver minehunting systems to the navy on the east coast in Halifax, and the west coast in British Columbia.
The formal contract signing will kick off the acquisition program in January.
