The cruise ship industry is touting a successful 2022 season following two years of COVID-19 travel restrictions.
The Atlantic Canada Cruise Association says 474 ships carrying over 622,000 passengers docked in ports across the east coast.
Ports such as those in Corner Brook, Charlottetown and Halifax recorded over 575,000 visitors from 360 ships.
The association says there has been a 24 per cent increase in visitors since 2019.
Things are looking promising for the 2023 cruise season as hundreds of cruises are scheduled to dock in Atlantic Canada in the new year.
