ParksNL is reporting a record-breaking increase in visits for the 2022 season.

Over 233,000 visits were made to the province’s 32 provincial parks during Come Home 2022, over 76,000 more visits in comparison to 2019.

There was also a record number of campsite bookings with a total of 66,527 nights spent at campsites.

Provincial parks are now closed until the spring, but the province says visitors can continue to enjoy the outdoor environments that the parks provide.
