Trades NL has made a significant donation to the Community Food Sharing Association.

Representatives paid a visit to the association on Friday to donate $5,000 dollars worth of food to help families struggling with increased costs.

Trades NL Executive Director Karin King says food should be accessible to everyone and they hope their donation will help families—especially at this time of year.

General Manager of the Community Food Sharing Association, Tina Bishop, says the donation will have a significant impact on helping to support 56 food banks throughout the province.
