The lineup for the top fisheries union job in Newfoundland and Labrador is growing.
Keith Sullivan surprised everyone a few weeks ago by choosing to resign the presidency with no immediate obvious alternate plans for a livelihood.
Long-time FFAW negotiator Greg Pretty announced almost immediately that he would be running for the post. Jason Sullivan, a critic of how things are being run at the FFAW, came out last week and today, businessman Dave Callahan put his name forth.
The union’s executive committee has already endorsed Greg Pretty.
A successor to Sullivan will be chosen early in the new year.
