Rescue NL says they need a Christmas miracle to help them transport over 100 rescue dogs from Manitoba.
The dogs who were being shipped to the province has been forced to return to Manitoba after being caught up in poor weather conditions.
Shirley Ryan, a Director with Rescue NL says the need for a Christmas miracle is a life or death situation.
She says the dogs will be forced to return to their fosters in Manitoba, which wouldn’t allow them to foster other dogs who are homeless in the cold winter conditions in the province.
Ryan says the only way they’ll be able to transport the dogs would be by air, something that would cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.
She’s asking anyone who could help in any way with booking a flight or charting a plane to reach out.
