The mayor of the province’s capital city is wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.

Danny Breen says it is nice that people are allowed to gather and go to events again, but people still need to be cautious because there is a lot of sickness going around.

That said, Breen states that it has been a pretty good year and things are starting to get back to normal.

He hopes everyone enjoys themselves and enjoys spending time with family. He says if people have a bit extra to give to others who are less fortunate that’s great, but it doesn’t all have to be financial. He says sometimes just checking on people to make sure they’re okay will do.
