Conception Bay South’s top tourism attraction saw 300,000 visitors in 2022—but it’s likely to attract even more next year with a 3.2 km extension from Doyle’s Road in Upper Gullies to Indian Pond in Seal Cove.
Mayor Darrin Bent says the T’Railway, which currently runs for 14 km, offers incredible coastal views, heritage boards and year-round accessibility.
You can walk, cycle, cross-country ski or snowshoe along the route, which is maintained all year round.
The extension into Seal Cove, which includes replacement of the trestle, will cost about $1 million.
Trail counters were installed along the system in November 2020 and since then, some 600,000 users have been counted along the route.
It is a non-motorized trail.
