Police have confiscated alcohol from a residence in Hopedale and arrested a man for bootlegging.
RCMP, search warrant in hand, went to a home on Sitsik Road Tuesday morning. A 34-year-old has been charged with peddling alcohol under the Liquor Control Act. He was released to appear in court later.
Police were tipped off by people from the community.
