A man is facing break and enter charges after running into police on Boxing Day,
Shortly before 11 a.m., police were called to Durdle Drive in the Goulds following a request for assistance. While dealing with that matter, police noticed a black Honda Civic speeding toward the police cars in the residential area, refusing to stop and almost hitting a police vehicle. The car went east on the main road.
The RNC then received a call of a break-and-enter that had just occurred on Kieley Drive where the suspect vehicle was driving a black Honda Civic.
Police located the suspect and arrested 37-year-old John Marsh, who is now facing charges of break and enter, dangerous operation of a vehicle, and flight from police.
Items stolen during the break in were recovered following an investigation.
Marsh was held to appear in court.
