RNC have made an arrest in connection with a robbery in downtown St. John’s on Boxing Day.

Police were called to the Livingstone Street area just before 6:30 p.m. after a man was robbed, threatened and assaulted by a person who fled on foot.

The victim, who knew the suspect, sustained minor injuries.

The accused, 25-year-old Peter Campbell, was arrested the following day without incident. He is charged with robbery, forcible confinement, overcoming resistance/choking, and breach of probation.

He was held in custody to appear in court.
