Emergency Services at the Green Bay Health Centre in Springdale are closed for 12-hours today due to a lack of staff.
Central Health says they are currently experiencing a temporary human resource challenge at the Green Bay Health Centre and as a result, there will be a temporary closure of ER services from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
During the temporary closure, residents who require emergency services are asked to call 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency room at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor.
Central Health says it is continuing its efforts in recruitment for this area for both physicians and healthcare providers.
They apologize for the interruption of service and thank the public for their understanding and patience.
There will be a temporary closure of Emergency (ER) Services at the Green Bay Health Centre in Springdale during the following period:
Friday, December 30 at 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
