The City of St. John’s is set to ring in the New Year with their annual fireworks show at Quidi Vidi Lake.
Leading up to the fireworks, residents can hit the ice at Bannerman Park with a skating party featuring holiday music, free hot chocolate and party favours from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
After skating, there will be a countdown celebration to the fireworks at Quidi Vidi Lake, which is set for 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a live DJ and accessible viewing, plus noise-cancelling headphones for those who need them.
